Fontwell 5.55 Nye Bevan (1/1)
Came through under patient tactics to win convincingly again at Worcester last week; improving all the time and looks to have an obvious chance of completing the hat-trick off the same mark here; the one to beat.
We’ve been with NYE BEVAN the last twice and I’m not about to abandon him now. He hasn’t stopped improving and while the commentator thought he briefly lost his position at Worcester last time I always thought Jamie Neild moved confidently in the saddle and he just took him back before bringing him through with a sustained challenge. He has a real likeable way of going and with more to come racing off the same mark here he looks the one they all have to beat. I know we’re not getting much of a price but he is by far and away the most likely winner for me. Olympic Honour was backed against the favourite last time but could only finish second and needs to find more. Still the most likely danger.

Newmarket 6.40 Aaddeey (6/4)
Well bred sort who built on a promising debut to win comfortably at Nottingham; chased home a subsequent winner at Newbury on return and with more to come back up in trip he gets a confident vote here.
Rodrigo Diaz has impressed winning his last three and he will be a big danger but a 10lb rise looks a bit harsh and he’s going to need more against the unexposed AADDEEY for Simon and Ed Crisford. This son of New Approach shaped really encouragingly when second to Flyin’ Solo and with that horse winning impressively at York yesterday that form looks all the better now. He should improve going back up in trip and looks the one to beat. Rodrigo Diaz should still threaten and that looks to be how it’s panning out in the betting. Kaloor could fare best of the rest as being by Nathaniel he could still have a bit more to come and did run well when second on final start for David Menuisier.
