NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT WILL ROGERS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

Race 4 Will Rogers Downs 8.24 Juliard Honor (7/4)

Smart filly who looked to be improving fast winning well over track and trip last month; backed that up with an impressive win over the same C&D next time before excuses last time, unseating rider; good chance to bounce back.

US tips are back on Wednesday and hopefully we can return with a NAP winner! We head to Will Rogers and JULIARD HONOR will take a lot of beating if back to her best. She lost her rider last time but with Floyd Wethey back in the saddle she can get back in the winners enclosure and make it 3 wins from her last 4 starts. Destiny’s Love looks the danger as she won by a wide margin over track and trip last time. This is tougher but if she is in the same form she should give the selection a race at least. Sigicricket is a big price and might be value to run into a place. She also brings winning form to the table and shouldn’t be entirely discounted if building on that.

Race 7 Thistledown 8.50 Ahimelech (2/1)

Promising type who comes here chasing a four-timer after showing a good attitude to assert over track and trip last time; seems to be progressing with every run and this easier if anything so obvious chance of going in again.

Sticking with the likeable AHIMELECH here as he bids to make it four wins straight. His winning run started when dropped back to 6f at Tampa in March where he showed bright early speed before finding plenty off the bridle. He backed that up next start getting to the front early and galloping them into submission. He had a bit of company early last time but again once in a rhythm always looked the most likely winner. If he improves again then I don’t see anything in here good enough to stop him bringing up the four-timer. Highland Park Hero swooped late to get up last time but the selection might be away and gone if he tries them tactics again. Big Trip might be a bigger danger.
