Good looking chestnut who got the job done in good style here last time; settling much better now and should be more to come so big chance of following up especially in a race as winnable as this; keep safe.
The Aussie NAP landed overnight and we head to Pakenham on Monday as we look to follow up. STAR OF LEON made the breakthrough last time and the step back up in trip looks a good move so he gets a confident vote to come out on top again. He is likely to race on or near the speed so should have first crack on his rivals. Inside Edge has 2 wins from 19 starts and she looks the danger. She has a good draw and has to be feared. Pacific Rim has just the 1 win from 11 starts and like the selection is open to improvement so could run well. Bar those mentioned it’s hard to see anything good enough to land a blow. Pharrell is exposed and is 0/4 at this track. Art Glass probably needs more experience.

Race 1 Pakenham Park 4.00 Tokoyo (6/4)
Promising filly who ran a nice race on debut when second at Ballarat earlier this month; sure to improve with that initial outing under her belt and looks well placed to go one better granted usual luck in running.
This looks all about TOKOYO here following a good start when second at Ballarat. She should strip fitter from that run and will be more streetwise now. Her form looks much better than that of Cardinal Gem and they should both know better having had a run against these newcomers. Billiethefillie is probably the most interesting of them but she hasn’t had a trial or anything so it’s a lot of guesswork as to how well they will run. Philosophers Stone is by Divine Prophet out of Rosie Quadrille and should also have a future but again more than likely going to need the experience to be seen in better light. Similar comments apply to Greek Tycoon.
