THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT LOUISIANA DOWNS ON TUESDAY NIGHT!

Race 3 Louisiana Downs 9.37 Jurisdiction (6/4)

Dug in bravely when only denied late over track and trip last month; could easily push forward again here with no clear pace and might end up being tough to peg back; good opportunity to get back in the winners enclosure.

Stateside bets are back tonight and we head over to Louisiana Downs for our best bet. JURISDICTION looks poised to go close following a really encouraging effort when second over C&D last time. He has the right attitude for the job and with no clear pace angle here it wouldn’t surprise me if they were positive on him, pushed forward and tried to make all. If he gets into a rhythm I don’t see anything good enough in here to peg him back. In terms of a danger it’s probably Tapsolution but he was a place behind the selection last time so strictly looks held on that form line. Mega Max won gamely over C&D last time but this is tougher so while he’s respected he does need to find more.

Race 3 Indiana Grand 8.27 Everyotherwon (9/4)

Promising filly who left debut run miles behind getting off the mark at just the second attempt over 6f here last month; improving as she gains experience and this doesn’t look any tougher so big chance of going in again.

I thought EVERYOTHERWON would be shorter than 9/4 so she gets a confident vote to make it 2 wins from her first 3 starts. She found plenty last time so it was a real likeable effort all things considered. If she improves again which she should I think she’ll have these in trouble a fair way out. The step up to a mile will only help her and she not only looks a good bet but good value at her current odds. Henrys Girl arrives chasing a hat-trick so has to be respected but this represents a step up in grade so she might struggle to reproduce that form here. Khushbu was kept up to the task to get off the mark last time and might be a bigger danger albeit at a bigger price. Hard to recommend much else.
