THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT BALLARAT ON FRIDAY MORNING!
Race 3 Ballarat 5.00 Fighter (4/5)
Likeable type who couldn’t have got much closer to making the breakthrough when denied just a nose on return from 4 months off the track; unexposed over this trip and with more to come can finally get off the mark.
With 5 seconds from 6 starts I think FIGHTER has a massive chance to make the breakthrough now. He missed just a nose on return and with fitness on side and more upsides than most of these he should justify favouritism. He should get a nice toe in here before finishing best under Jack Hill. Grabowski is also building up a useful profile having knocked on the door lately and looks the most obvious threat to the favourite. Jamcra took a step forward when second at Ballarat and also has to enter the reckoning if transferring that form to here. Cactus King has shown ability in two starts to date but needs more to trouble these. Similar comments apply to Hampton Cove who should do better soon.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT MORUYA ON FRIDAY!
Race 6 Moruya 6.05 Dream Runner (6/4)
Good looking sort who had excuses when failing to finish at Hawkesbury last time; if you put a line through that his win at Kembla Grange prior to that was impressive; still has potential and can get firmly back on track here.
The market has this between Mr Magical and DREAM RUNNER and it’s the latter I’m keen to side with. This flashy chestnut obviously wasn’t right when pulling up last time but he had looked progressive prior to that and with 3 wins on the board already he can get himself back in the winners enclosure here. We know he goes well fresh and I loved the way he won at Kembla Grange prior to that mishap. If he bounces back he should have the measure of Mr Magical. The latter is in good nick himself but the selection could prove a cut above as I can see him winning this before going on to better things in time. Surprised he isn’t favourite but I guess he does have a bit to prove after that last run.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Ballarat and Moruya in the early hours of Friday morning.
