Windsor 6.30 Ooh Is It (5/4)
Took a while to get his act together but showed promise at Chepstow and backed that up at Wolverhampton before opening his account impressively at Leicester last time; form franked since so looks a leading player in this field.
It was a tough weekend no hiding away from that so hopefully we can get back on track tonight. We head to Windsor for our best bet and OOH IS IT can win again for David Evans. This son of Es Que Love won really well at Leicester last time and with Pretty Shiftwell now a non runner this looks a massive opportunity for him to go and follow up. He is likely to be ridden aggressively and in the rain softened ground I don’t think he’ll come back to them. Kath’s Toyboy is still a maiden so the fact he is second favourite says a lot about the race for me. He has been running consistently but almost certainly needs more to beat the selection. Silver Diva and Jessie Pye look best of a moderate rest.

Musselburgh 8.15 Silver Shade (9/4)
Likeable sort who has 2 wins from 5 starts this term; bolted up by 12 lengths at Southwell before chasing home the promising Zinc White at Sandown up in trip; tough ask at Doncaster last time and this much easier.
With Let Me Be carrying such a big weight this can go the way of SILVER SHADE for Mark Johnston. This horse knows how to win and has some decent form in the book. He finished last of all at Doncaster last time but that was a fiercely competitive handicap and he will be much happier in these calmer waters here. Let Me Be is obviously the form horse but he is now carrying 10 stone 1 which is a huge ask in my book. The selection carries the lightest weight in the race and I can see him being a bit of a gamble on the day. Let Me Be is a threat but I actually think Sarvi may emerge as a greater danger in the closing stages. She is on an 11-run losing sequence though so she will need to be at her best.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Windsor and Musselburgh on Monday as we look to bounce back! Pays 6/1!
