THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER AT THIRSK ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!
Thirsk 2.45 Zagato (11/10)
Frankel colt who bounced back denied just a head at Doncaster last time; sets a good standard off the back of that and with the promise of more to come this looks a good opportunity on paper to get off the mark.
The NAP was disappointing last night so hopefully we can get back on track on Wednesday as we head to Thirsk. Frankel colt ZAGATO has run three promising races if you take away that Newbury blip. He bumped into a good horse in Siam Fox last time and with further improvement likely he can open his account here. Bellevue Lad is likely to go hard early and that should help the selection drop his head early before getting on top in the closing stages. Forza Orta was a good second on debut at Carlisle having been slowly away. He looks the danger but has a fair bit to find with the favourite so it’s a big ask. Yojaari also has a squeak but would need to be pretty decent to win this under a penalty.

Musselburgh 5.10 Yagood (13/8)
Progressive winning 3 from 5 this term and firmly on top in the closing stages at Wolverhampton last time, pulling clear in the closing stages; 5lb penalty but plenty going for him otherwise and rates the one to beat.
We head to Musselburgh for our second best bet on Wednesday and YAGOOD can win again. He is clearly in great form right now winning 3 from 5 this season and he really impressed last time, asserting in good style in the closing stages at Wolverhampton. He has more to offer under a penalty and with Harry Burns back in the saddle claiming a handy 5lb there is lots to like. Sir Charles Punch has been frustrating and remains a maiden so hard to recommend. Justified dropped away tamely last time but previous form would make him the danger. Feldspar won at Hamilton earlier this month but has enough to prove following that tame effort at Leicester last time going off too hard.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Thirsk and Musselburgh on Wednesday. Pays 4/1!
