THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER AT WOLVERHAMPTON ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON!
Wolverhampton 3.10 Nibras Shadow (11/10)
Dark Angel filly who caught the eye finishing second at Newcastle last month before going one better in taking fashion at the same venue last time; carries a penalty but clearly at the top of her game right now.
I know it’s at quite a lowly level being a Class 6 but the way NIBRAS SHADOW ran away from them at Newcastle last week she is mightily hard to go against at Wolverhampton on Friday. She is back down to 7f but that shouldn’t inconvenience her and she is by far and away the most likely winner here despite the penalty. Crocodile Power is lightly raced and he ran his best race when second to Russco last time. If he builds on that then he looks most likely to emerge as the danger. Defilade was fourth at Chepstow and that wasn’t a bad effort so I expect him to be hitting the frame but hard to see him upsetting the favourite. Lofty doesn’t put it all in so is readily opposed. Hard to recommend much else.

Musselburgh 6.48 Clodovea (15/8)
Likeable filly who left previous form well behind when second on handicap debut at Pontefract earlier this month; quickly built on that to justify strong support at Beverley latest; more to come so big chance again.
There was just a neck between On the River and CLODOVEA at Beverley last time. I know the former is likely to be popular given he gets a 3lb swing but the latter is also capable of further improvement and I think she can confirm those placings on this sharper track. She should be more streetwise now and hopefully she gets a clearer run through. Regrettably has first-time cheekpieces so should put good pace to the race. Mehjusthaveanother has shown ability and can step forward on nursery debut but the market principals look to have it between them. Littleletimyhoulihan is up in trip but needs to take a big step forward to get competitive here.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Wolverhampton and Musselburgh on Friday.
