NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS ON THE AW AT KEMPTON ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Kempton 8.00 Chai Yo Power (11/8)
Progressive sort who showed a great attitude to virtually make all and hold on gamely by a nose at Windsor in June; backed that up under different tactics at Lingfield despite having raced keenly; can do better yet so hat-trick beckons.
This looks a great chance for the improving CHAI YO POWER to bring up the hat-trick. He is 8lb higher but he is still doing a fair bit wrong so when he puts it altogether he should be capable of even better. He was keen enough last time so did well to pick them up from off the pace. Before that he made virtually all when opening his account at Windsor so it will be interesting to see what tactics they go for here. The key to him will be getting him settled so if they go hard that would be ideal but if not I don’t think SDS would hesitate to push forward. Civilian is probably the most obvious danger on handicap bow but it wouldn’t surprise me to see Garbanzo chase the selection home. He likes this C&D.

Bath 1.35 Twilight Secret (9/4)
Twilight Son colt who chased home Dragon Symbol on debut and came on for that initial effort after a break when second to the promising Fernando Rah at Wolverhampton last month; form franked since; should take the beating.
I was quite surprised to see Prop Forward installed as favourite here but even at the time of writing they are threatening to flip flop and that’s no surprise as for me TWILIGHT SECRET has the stronger form. He bumped into Dragon Symbol on debut and backed that up going down to another promising sort last time. He is clearly improving and this looks a good opportunity for him to go one better now. Prop Forward shaped with clear promise on debut and is the danger but I don’t think he is the most straightforward and he is bumping into a potentially smart colt here in the shape of the selection. Ray Day is a clear best of the rest as she can also do better but might need more time.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Bath and Kempton on Wednesday.
