THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT PAKENHAM ON TUESDAY!
Race 5 Pakenham 6.00 Pal’s Reward (11/10)
Shaped as though he needed the run when caught wide on return at Warracknabeal; quickly improved to dominate the opposition over track and trip last time; more to come yet so hard to oppose in this field.
The Aussie NAP took quite a big walk in the market last night out to 11/4 but still did the business. We head to Pakenham as we bid to follow up on Tuesday and PAL’S REWARD can win again. He showed what he is capable of last time and with extra fitness on side he can improve again and follow up here. Rising Sphere is fairly unexposed and looks the danger having ran well when second last time. Shilo Lass has a couple of wins to her name but has been a bit flat the last twice so needs to leave them behind to trouble the principals here. There isn’t a great deal of strength in depth so hard to recommend much else at the biggest prices. Perhaps My Ruby could snatch a place.

Race 6 Taree 6.40 Boncassie (5/4)
Promising filly who looks as though the penny has really dropped lately winning her last two in good style; can keep improving and up slightly in trip again so plenty going for her; looks a standout in this field.
The Aussie NB was back in the winners enclosure overnight and we head to Taree on Tuesday where BONCASSIE can bring up the hat-trick. She is getting better with experience and is weighted well here so I expect her to push forward and burn these off. Dicko’s Mate does like to push forward but strictly on times she holds the key. Save Your Kisses made a winning start at Scone but this is tougher. She is entitled to improve but needs to find a fair bit to trouble the favourite. Chase My Crown hasn’t been seen since March and might need the run. If she is fit she certainly has a squeak. Wandzel best of the rest but would need to show more to get involved. Not a great deal of strength in depth.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Pakenham and Taree in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
