NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS ON THE FLAT OVER AT BRIGHTON ON MONDAY AFTERNOON!
Brighton 2.45 Twistaline (13/8)
Likeable filly who has improved since going handicapping running her best race to date going down just half a length at Kempton earlier this month; looked a bit unlucky given how much went wrong; sets the standard and hard to oppose.
With the promise of more to come TWISTALINE should open her account here. She went right out the stalls last time and then was rather lit up and overraced early. She just got caught on heels and had to wait to see daylight. She picked up well but the race was over and she ran on strongly at the finish to go down just half a length. With further improvement to come and if he gets a smoother passage here she should take a lot of beating as she already sets the standard on that and can step forward again. If she does that would make her very hard to beat. Dashing To You has only raced 4 times and was slowly into stride last time so looks the danger if getting away on terms.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT CHEPSTOW ON MONDAY AFTERNOON!
Chepstow 2.30 Bolly Bullet (7/4)
Improved since switched to this yard winning at Salisbury over a mile and then backing that up over this trip next start, picking up well in the closing stages; too keen last time but only beaten half a length; can get back on track.
With 7lb claimer Liam Browne booked for the ride the progressive BOLLY BULLET can get himself back in the winners enclosure at Chepstow on Monday. His recent form figures of 112 are impressive and he was a bit unlucky to be run down in the closing stages last time having raced too keenly early on. If he settles better here with the cheekpieces back on I think he’s going to take a lot of beating and looks the most obvious winner. Sir Plato is a 4-time C&D winner so he obviously has to be respected but he could only finish fourth last time and will need to better that effort to come with a challenge. Cold Stare is out now so Miquelon might be best of the rest. He was a creditable second last time.
