Windsor 5.15 Autumn Flight (11/8)
Broke alertly and made all the running gamely over C&D last month; up just 3lb and Harry Burns claims a valuable 5lb so technically 2lb better off here; obvious chance of following up and looks worth chancing.
This looks like a great opportunity for AUTUMN FLIGHT to make it back-to-back wins after winning over course and distance two weeks ago. He won that nicely from the front and has only been raised 3lb for that win. Harry Burns takes off 5lb so he is actually better off at the weights and in a weak race he will take some beating if in the same form. It isn’t easy to pick a main danger as the field isn’t that strong. Rose Hip and the old boy Pettochside might give him something to think about if it gets tactical but they aren’t obviously well handicapped and it’s going to be hard for them to come from off the pace as the fav will get first run under aggressive tactics.

Goodwood 2.25 Rock Melody (6/4)
Promising filly who made a winning start at Redcar before finding a Listed race too hot at Newmarket; beaten less than a length at Windsor last time and with that form working out notably well since she looks the one to beat in this field.
I know it was a bit disappointing to see ROCK MELODY beaten at Windsor last time as she went off a shade of odds-on but the form has been strongly franked since so it wasn’t as bad as it may have first seemed. She was only denied three-quarters of a length and the winner, third and fourth have all gone in again since. She sets the standard and can improve again herself so I think she’ll be hard to beat. I’m expecting her to prove popular so it wouldn’t surprise me if she went off odds-on again. Camacho filly Piffle improved to win at Windsor last time but will find this tougher under a penalty. Caryatid is the most interesting newcomer and being by Cheveley Park she is likely to get backed in.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Goodwood and Windsor on Tuesday.
