Race 5 Louisiana Downs 10.29 War Veteran (11/10)
Likeable type who shaped as though he needed the run over an inadequate trip on return last month, never dangerous; back up in trip now and fitter so should be finishing better than anything; big chance to get back to winning ways.
Chub Wagon was spectacular last night! I know the race cut up somewhat but she still put them to the sword and sprinted clear close home. A filly going places! Not the most inspiring night Stateside on Tuesday I have to be honest but WAR VETERAN catches the eye back up in trip at Louisiana Downs. He has shown his best form over this sort of trip and if he gets a good pace to aim at he should be finishing best of all. Iadanza bumped into a decent yardstick on penultimate start before disappointing on turf and looks the main danger to the favourite. U Complete Me was disappointing last time but his previous form would entitle him to run into a place and he looks best of the rest.

Race 5 Indiana Grand 9.29 Son Of Batman (7/4)
Drew off in style to win head in chest over 6f here last month; improving judging by that performance and this not much tougher so big chance of following up before perhaps going on to better things; keep on side.
This is quite competitive so I doubt it will be as easy as it was last time for SON OF BATMAN but that being said he looked in great form on that occasion and if he repeats that it should give him a major chance. He is lightly raced for his age and remains unexposed. Complex Justice went down just a head last time closing fast late and looks the main danger to the favourite. Jeff The Runner is likely to push forward and those positive tactics did see him hold on 3 starts back but he has been well held by a few of these since so needs more. Empire’s Score is perhaps overpriced for a place as he bumped into Vice Cop last time and that was a good run so should see him involved here.
