Smart type who made an impressive start running on strongly from off the pace to make a winning debut at Wangaratta earlier this month; sure to know more now and improve so obvious chance of making it a perfect 2-2 here.
Aussie tips were back last night and the NAP returned with a winner! We head to Cranbourne on Thursday morning for our best bet and WASCALY should remain unbeaten for Smiley Chan and Damien Thornton. He impressed winning on debut and with further improvement to come should be hitting the line strong given how the race panned out on debut. Kohli has just the 1 win from 5 starts but has Damian Lane up and is capable of better so looks the main danger to the favourite. I think the pair will dominate the finish here, hopefully in the right order. Brawl looks best of the rest with 1 win from 4 starts but needs more on his form to mix it with the front pair.

Race 7 Lismore 7.25 Macchina Volante (13/8)
Useful sort who has won his last two first of all coming from way back to score at Murwillumbah and then followed that up over track and trip last time; form stacks up; hard to oppose and hat-trick beckons.
Despite tough draws the last twice MACCHINA VOLANTE has still proved too good and I think from the box seat here he will have these covered. He is chasing a hat-trick and his form stacks right up. The way he swept home from off the pace particularly on penultimate start was very impressive. Riot Act won twice at Gold Coast last month and looks the obvious danger but was held in fourth last time so will need to better that to lay a glove on this fav. Nemingah has just 3 wins from 21 starts and even two encouraging seconds lately aren’t enough to persuade me he is ready to strike here especially against the potential of the selection. Nothing else appeals.
