Race 5 Rockhampton 7.15 Only Wanna Sing (5/4)
Talented sort who has 11 wins to his name and was back in the winners enclosure at Townsville last month, dominating throughout; goes particularly well at this track with 5 wins from 7 starts here; lots to like and should win.
The Aussie NAP was back in the winners enclosure overnight and we head to Rockhampton in search of another winner. ONLY WANNA SING loves it at Rockhampton with 5 wins from 7 starts. He is thriving right now having gone close at Cairns and then did it impressively at Townsville last time. If he turns up in the same sort of form he is going to take all the beating here. Indernile has 5 wins from 43 starts and that includes 14 placed efforts. He is very consistent and shouldn’t be far away again. Cavellton was back in the winners enclosure at Yeppoon last month but this is tougher. If he builds on that he could be in the shake-up but probably enough to prove against the top pair.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT MILDURA ON TUESDAY!
Race 7 Mildura 6.30 No Way Ever (11/8)
Good looking filly who made a really bright start winning on debut at Pakenham having been well backed; didn’t get a run when only midfield last time; will improve again and looks well placed to make it 2 wins from 3 starts.
This looks a good chance for NO WAY EVER to get back to winning ways. She impressed winning first-up and was denied a run several times when only sixth last time. This is easier and she will improve so I think she’ll be tough to beat. The 11/8 on offer looks a good price as I’d have her odds-on come post time. King’s Ransom is the closest in the betting but he finished last at Caulfield last time and has enough to prove off the back of that. If he bounces back then he should chase the selection home but you couldn’t be sure he’ll be back to his best. Wegottem Today Son has shown promise and might be best of the rest. He should do better going forward so may well be one to keep an eye on.
