THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT FORT ERIE ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 6 Fort Erie 8.20 Fafa Fooey (11/8)

Won 2 of his last 3 and with Wheres My Halter now scratched this looks a great opportunity for him to add another victory; stays a mile plus well so step up in trip no issue and can’t see how he doesn’t go close now.

Both the original US NAP and NB were scratched late so I’ve replaced them. The NAP runs in the same race as FAFA FOOEY looks to have a great opportunity now. Giant Mine looks the speed angle and the selection should get nicely settled off the pace before steaming through late. Strictly on the clock he is going to pick these up in the closing stages. Four Knights was really poor last time but his win before that was quite convincing so if he bounces back this evening he looks the danger to the favourite. Cause For Alarm is the rank outsider of this field but he might be a bit big as he has won at this level before but does need to put behind him a disappointing run last time where he failed to land a blow.

Race 5 Finger Lakes 8.06 Johnny Fontaine (13/8)

Promising sort who looked in desperate need of the experience when down the field on debut over track and trip; much more like it when denied just a nose last time, showing a good attitude under pressure; can go one better tonight.

We head to Finger Lakes now for our second best bet of the evening and JOHNNY FONTAINE can go one better following a nose defeat over C&D last month. He was only denied in the final few yards and that was a real likeable effort. He is improving so if he steps forward again he should win this. Seizer hasn’t shown a great deal in two starts to date but they have come in better races than this so he might be one to watch in the market with his sights lowered. Hangout is another one who might not be far away but on the balance definitely needs to find more. Up For Adventure looks the danger but even he finished a tired horse last time so does need to bounce back to get competitive.
