Newmarket 3.33 Bay Bridge (5/4)
Progressive colt who really impressed winning the London Gold Cup at Newbury back in May and had no problem bringing up the hat-trick at York last time, staying on strongly; more to come yet and looks up to this level.
I always felt confident that BAY BRIDGE was going to pick them up at York last time and after just 5 starts it’s unlikely he is done improving yet. He steps into Listed company now so it will be tougher but he is thoroughly likeable and I think he could be even better than this level in time so he gets a confident vote to bring up the hat-trick. Majestic Dawn was back to his best winning at Salisbury last month and looks the most obvious danger especially if given an easy time of it up front. Monty has won 2 of his last 3 and has to be respected but might just be bumping into a more progressive rival in the shape of the favourite. Desert Encounter and Tyson Fury both need more on recent form.

Wolverhampton 6.30 Flora Finch (6/4)
Promising filly who is improving with experience and ran well going down just a neck to a nice prospect at Chelmsford earlier this month; sure to step forward again and should relish this step up in trip; massive chance.
It will be interesting to see how Rousay fares in Listed company at Newmarket earlier in the day as she was the filly that denied FLORA FINCH a neck at Chelmsford earlier this month. The front 3 that day came well clear so I think the form will work out in time. Roger Varian’s filly looks sure to improve again from that and if she does she could have these in trouble. Time Test filly Turn Back Time won at Lingfield in August but has been held since so needs more. Themoonsaballoon might be a bigger danger as she shaped encouragingly on debut and is also expected to take a forward step now. Magnetic Field looks the most interesting debutant so keep an eye on the market in regards to her.
