THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT GRAFTON ON WEDNESDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Grafton 6.45 Tara Jasmine (10/11)
Progressive mare who has 5 wins from 11 starts including 3 placed efforts as well; arrives here having won 3 of her last 4 and on a hat-trick after running out a convincing winner over track and trip last month; lots to like.
With 5 runs and 5 wins at this track TARA JASMINE is taken to remain unbeaten at Grafton overnight. She is a mare firmly on the upgrade and however you break this down she should be tough to beat. She has won 3 of her last 4 and that disappointment came in a strong City grade field so it can be excused. Zac Attack has won 5 from 18 and has to be considered one of the dangers but I actually think Bel Academy will put up the most resistance. He has turned a corner recently winning well at Ballina and then losing little in defeat behind the selection here last time. If he runs to that sort of level again he should be the one that chases home the favourite.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 9 AT LAUNCESTON OVERNIGHT!
Race 9 Launceston 11.00 Assaranca (11/8)
Promising mare who has won her last two in good style and is 2 from 3 over this trip, including 3 wins at this track; improving all the time and looks ideally placed to play a significant role again; the one to beat.
The money has been down for ASSARANCA recently and she keeps impressing winning again over C&D last time. With scope to improve again she is going to be a tough nut to crack overnight. 11/8 looks generous to me and I can see her going off much shorter. So Astounding has just the 2 wins from 27 starts so I can’t see her really troubling this favourite. She is 0/6 at the track and has just 1 victory over the distance – hardly inspiring form. Full Knots Ahead looks a greater danger but again her course form looks poor. Travelling Gigolo is unexposed so might improve to chase home the favourite but hard to be confident. Sir Da Vinci has just 1 win from 8 starts here and also needs more.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Grafton and Launceston in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
