Wolverhampton 4.00 Tio Mio (11/8)
Promising colt who left previous form well behind showing a good attitude to pick them up late and stay on well to the line over C&D last month; 3lb rise perfectly fair and with more to come should follow up here.
Given TIO MIO managed to overcome a pace bias when scoring over C&D last month he looks a good bet to follow up on Monday evening. He has been raised just 3lb and with further improvement to come can strike again while the iron is hot. Cieren Fallon got a good tune out of him last time and is in the saddle again tonight. Elegant Love should put good pace to the race perhaps with pressure from My Target. Semser has tumbled down the weights since joining this yard and might be the danger. If the money comes then you can expect him to run a good race. Ghostly won nicely at Nottingham and then got stuck in the mud there when last seen. If bouncing back he could also hit the frame.

Ludlow 2.30 Golden Taipan (2/1)
Likeable type who won impressively over track and trip on penultimate start, eased down at the finish; tactical race didn’t suit when a close-up third at Wincanton last time; in great form and looks sure to go close.
I remember Son Of Camas winning at Newbury where he beat King Roland and that was a really promising performance but let’s be honest he hasn’t exactly gone on since. I know he shaped a bit better than recent starts when fourth to Minella Trump last time but I’m still struggling to warm to him and I think he’s one of those horses that will continue to be expensive to follow. I much prefer GOLDEN TAIPAN and I’m pleasantly surprised we can still get 2/1 about his chances. He was impressive over C&D on penultimate start and wasn’t seen to best effect last time. He still remains in cracking form and a big run beckons again here. I can actually see Wild Max emerging as the main danger.
