NAP – Best selection of the evening
Uttoxeter 3.30 Hidor De Bersy (11/8)
Impressed winning a bumper at Huntingdon, staying on well; clearly bumped into one when second on hurdles debut at Carlisle and only going to improve from that; should have too many gears for these.
Nurse Susan looks a lovely prospect for Dan Skelton so while connections might have expected a bit more from HIDOR DE BERSY on hurdles debut that run has already been boosted with the winner going in again since. He is sure to improve from that and this looks a good opportunity to go one better with nothing of that calibre of horse in here. Anyharminasking stepped forward to go down just a length at Worcester but that form has been let down since so he’s going to need to find more to beat the favourite. Crypto Currency also showed promise at Sandown but might need more time and experience and this could be quite a strong race with the front two looking to have bright futures.

Fontwell 12.20 Oceanline (11/8)
Shaped with an abundance of promise when runner-up to a subsequent winner and smart prospect at Stratford; didn’t back that up at Wetherby but this test should suit better and definitely retains potential; go close.
I know OCEANLINE was well held last time and that was a bit disappointing but his second to Too Friendly prior to that was extremely encouraging and if he can resume his progression here he will be a cut above these. He did well on the Flat and certainly retains potential hurdling. He’ll need to put that latest run behind him but it’s early days and this test should suit him better. Given what Too Friendly has achieved since he is hard to get away from. Top Brass makes his debut for Warren Greatrex but the yard have been very quiet and he has a bit to find on Flat form at least with the fav who also has experience on side now. Boulette won over C&D last time but a penalty makes it tougher.
