Race 6 Geraldton 8.15 Three Sessions (1/1)

Progressive sort who has taken his form to a new level since returning winning back-to-back races here last month; improving all the time and with more to come can bring up the hat-trick; one to keep firmly on side.

There has been no doubting THREE SESSIONS here in recent times and given he is likely to get his own way up front again I think he can make it 3 in a row and remain unbeaten at this track. It clearly suits him well and he is getting better and better. The money has been down and it should come again here as I can see him going off very short. Passport has just the 1 win from 8 starts but is a fair yardstick and should keep the selection honest. The Singing Tiger has a similar profile to the latter to be honest but his recent form needs to be better. Admiral Husson is respected on exposed form but is coming up against some improvers so I’ll be surprised if he manages to win this.

Race 3 Wyong 4.05 Caboteur (6/4)

Likeable type who has caught the eye a couple of times and ran a nice race when beaten narrowly into second on return; sure to improve from that and this trip suits him well so looks hard to oppose in this company.

Everything points towards CABOTEUR running a big race here. His form stacks up and with further gains a near certainty he can make the most of this situation to get off the mark. He likes to go forward and was only pegged back late on return so with added fitness I don’t think he’ll come back to them. Tailoring also ran well when second at Wyong last time and has the ability to get involved. Might always be playing second fiddle though. Ba Ai Gei Ni is 0/7 and has struggled recently. On the pick of her efforts she might not be far away but her price is short enough given she has enough to prove on the balance of form. Aldrin is the most unexposed horse in the race and could run into the frame late.
