NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT PHILADELPHIA TONIGHT!

Race 4 Philadelphia 6.31 Hightime Valentine (11/10)

Improving filly who was given a lot to do last time but really rattled home to surge clear late; extra half furlong ideal tonight and if she gets a good pace to aim at nothing should be finishing as good; keep firmly on side.

It’s a busy night Stateside so hopefully we can dig out plenty of winners. The best bet runs over at Philadelphia where last time out winner HIGHTIME VALENTINE should be tough to beat. She did it impressively last time and swept clear late. There is plenty of pace on again and she should get a good target to run down. The extra half furlong is in her favour and she looks to have plenty going for her again. The dangers is probably Anginetti who was only denied a length last time and this is easier if anything. Crick showed a good attitude to prevail at this level last time and should run her race as well but I think the fav can improve again so she’ll need to find more for sure.

Race 5 Mahoning Valley 7.36 Overbearing (13/8)

Tough sort who comes here chasing a hat-trick after winning the last twice over C&D again showing a good attitude under pressure last time; this no tougher so hard to oppose if he turns up in the same form tonight.

This looks a great opportunity for the likeable OVERBEARING to bring up the hat-trick. He started his winning spree over track and trip last month at this level before going up in grade last time and winning by the same margin. This is easier and he looks the one to beat if matching that form tonight. Makes Good Sense is on a four-timer himself and looks the danger but he has been winning at a lower level so this will require more from him. Frittons Gold is also on a hat-trick but again this is a tougher race so he is going to need to improve to trouble the selection. Honor Life is down in grade and didn’t run too badly last time so if stepping forward slightly could also get seriously competitive.
