THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT AQUEDUCT ON SUNDAY!
Race 8 Aqueduct 8.50 Magic Circle (4/5)
Promising filly who made a perfect start dotting up on debut at Saratoga; highly tried since and only beaten a length in a Grade 2 over track and trip last month; still improving and good chance to get back to winning ways.
The US NAP was back in the winners enclosure last night so hopefully we can double up on Sunday. We head to Aqueduct where MAGIC CIRCLE should take a bit of beating. She is clearly still on the upgrade judging by that length third in a Grade 2 last time and given this is easier she should resume her progression and get herself back in the winners enclosure. She has tons of speed so will push forward and likely take plenty of catching. The danger looks to be Rosebug who stepped forward to make the breakthrough over 7f last time. She is clearly very promising as well but has to prove herself back up in trip and in tougher company again. Morning Matcha also has a chance but is more exposed.

Race 8 Gulfstream Park 9.11 Gone Nuts (7/4)
Likeable colt who left previous form behind to win convincingly here back in October; vet scratched him last month but if all okay he will take all the beating with the promise of more to come; one to keep firmly on side.
Hopefully we see a bit of market support in the run up to the race for GONE NUTS who looks a promising colt. He won easily here when last seen and my only concern is that he was scratched by the vet last month. If all is okay with his wellbeing he will improve again and should be a cut above this field. Backatya has won 2 of his last 3 and also looks talented so should give the selection most to think about. Lucago beat On Jet Heir over track and trip last time so that form also brings him into it and he is a player. He is already gelded though so doesn’t look open to as much improvement as the selection. Wow Run impressed on penultimate start but let backers down last time and needs to bounce back.
