THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 1 AT IPSWICH ON WEDNESDAY!

Race 1 Ipswich 3.38 Canadian Dancer (11/10)

Promising filly who was beaten just half a length on debut at Sunshine Coast, overracing in the early stages; came on of the experience to finish second again at Eagle Farm last time; can do better again so good chance here.

Not the best day Down Under but CANADIAN DANCER looks hard to oppose at Ipswich in the early hours. She is a filly on the up and she won’t need a massive amount of improvement to take this out. She looks to have the most potential in this field and really should be winning. Her nearest market rival is Shaluna who is 0/7 and she should run well but is unlikely to upset the fav. Constructionmaster has finished runner-up the last twice and could be in the mix again. He remains unexposed after just 3 starts so has to enter calculations. At a bigger price Country Showgirl may be worth a second look but needs more. Hard to see anything else in here being good enough.

Race 2 Sandown 5.15 Healing Game (5/4)

Improving sort who ran green on debut so did well to finish third at Cranbourne; sure to come on for that initial experience and if sharper now should take all the beating here before going on to bigger and better things.

He might not be huge odds but I’m confident HEALING GAME is the one to beat here. He ran green on debut and will be a lot more streetwise here. I don’t expect him to be as far back as he was the last day and he should be hitting the line strong. Sir Phoenix has experience on side so could emerge as the main danger to the favourite. Susanne Joy is a good looking chestnut filly and she could get involved but will need to improve from that debut third. Stagger Together is also likely to be in the mix for a place but again needs to progress to upset this favourite. Ocean Raider needs to settle better but does have potential going forward. Count Of Sancerre needs more time and experience.
