Race 3 Turfway Park 12.16 Malpais (best price 11/10)
Smart type who has won 8 of his last 9 and ran out an impressive winner over a similar trip to this last time; good pace on here and that might help give him a target to run down; comfortably the most likely winner.
The thriving MALPAIS should be worth the wait at Turfway Park in the early hours of Friday morning. He is a horse going from strength-to-strength right now and this looks another good opportunity for him to notch up another win and extend this glittering sequence. He is versatile so if they go hard early he will just take a toe in but he can also go forward and has been seen to good effect recently. I’ll be surprised if 11/10 is still available come post time. The most likely danger according to the betting is Vivid Verse who was only beaten a couple of lengths on return and if he builds on that should give the selection something to think about.

Race 7 Charles Town 2.49 To The Front (best price 11/8)
Tough sort who has won 4 of his last 5 and again showed a great attitude to assert late over this trip last month; hard to oppose if turning up in the same form and no surprise to see him head the betting; should win.
It’s an even longer wait for the US NB on Thursday as we head to Charles Town overnight. TO THE FRONT has been in cracking form over these sprint trips and I think he can make it 5 wins from his last 6 here. It’s no tougher than what he’s been facing and he should be hitting the line best. Black Candy was beaten by the favourite last time and in fact on his last 3 starts so looks held but might not be far away again. Impetuous is quite a big price having done well to win by a head last time. He could run better than his odds are suggesting at least. Ms Headley also deserves a mention but this does look a tougher ask so will need to do better to have a say in the finish.
Evening Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Turfway Park and Charles Town on Thursday evening.
