THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT STAWELL ON TUESDAY!
Race 3 Stawell 3.30 Darzela (10/11)
Promising filly who was well backed on debut at Stony Creek and lost momentum at a crucial stage in the race when checked in the run; only missed narrowly; sure to be a lot sharper now and can open her account here.
I’m keen to stick with the improving DARZELA here following that really encouraging debut effort at Stony Creek. She went down just a neck at the line having been hampered in the run and it was a big effort. I’m expecting the money to come for her again and hopefully she is up to justifying favouritism this time. Gold Logie has experience on side so looks the danger but he is 0/9 now so has had plenty of attempts. He is only really a serious threat if inexperience costs the fav again. Glamouring is a good looking filly but she looked a bit one paced late on at Werribee and will need to better that to land a blow at the business end of this race. Early days for Zouzouli but she also needs more.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK!
Race 2 Kembla Grange 2.50 Sebrenco (11/8)
Improving filly who found herself back in the winners enclosure at Wyong when last seen back in the summer; given time to mature since and looks to have a bright future; well placed to make a winning return; keep safe.
This looks a cracking chance for SEBRENCO to make it 3 wins from just 5 starts. She hasn’t done much wrong with 2 wins and 2 seconds so far and she goes well fresh so I think she’ll put these rivals to the sword. Rafha’s Choice has a very different profile as he is exposed but with 8 wins to his name from 52 starts including 2 at this track from 4 attempts he has to be feared. I think the selection can improve past him though and those younger legs should count in the closing stages. Don Luigi ran better when third here last time and can also get in the mix if building on that but will need to. Colonel also worth a market check but his record over this trip and at this track both are a cause for concern.
