THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT GOULBURN ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 6 Goulburn 5.20 Turning (11/8)
Progressive sort who has already won 3 times from just 6 starts; combination of a wide draw and needing the run cost him on return; left that behind to win at Newcastle latest; further improvement to come yet.
The improving TURNING can win again at Goulburn on Tuesday morning. He is a horse firmly on the upgrade judging by that Newcastle win last time and with scope to kick on again I think he’ll be too good for this bunch. He will race handily and should relish the extra yardage. He looks to have the most potential of these and 6/4 looks generous at the time of writing. Highly Desired is a solid yardstick with 7 wins from 35 starts and is 3 from 5 over this distance and 2 from 2 at this track so certainly shouldn’t be overlooked. I expect him to keep the fav honest but the selection is improving all the time. Wild Chap is a good looking chestnut but he only has 2 wins from 22 starts so needs to find more.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT SUNSHINE COAST!
Race 6 Sunshine Coast 6.40 Applecross (6/4)
Likeable type who showed plenty of encouragement when third at Gatton last time back form 6 months off the track, only beaten narrowly; sure to come on physically from that so hard to oppose against this field.
Plenty of non runners here so it looks a cracking opportunity for APPLECROSS to get back to winning ways. He ran a big race on return and having won a trial since will be spot on for this now. He is fav at the time of writing and I expect his odds to contract come post time. Tallahassee Lassie had been running well but she blew out at Gold Coast last time and needs to leave that behind to trouble the selection. Mint Strip has gone off the boil but is another one that could get seriously competitive if bouncing back as some of his form does stack up. Go Factor may run well but has to be vulnerable from a win point of view. Who Said So and Tinder both need to find more to get involved here.
