THE AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT WARRNAMBOOL ON TUESDAY!
Race 8 Warrnambool 6.30 Heart Of Puissance (7/4)
Good looking sort who has some really strong form to his name; denied just a nose on return at Moonee Valley back in September; freshened up again and should be firing on return again; definitely worth chancing.
This is a decent race with some useful types lining up but HEART OF PUISSANCE goes particularly well fresh and I think he can make a winning return. He will get settled back but hopefully nothing will be finishing as strong. The obvious threat is the likeable Bermadez. He has won 5 from 12 and is largely progressive. He did disappoint at Caulfield last month though and has a bit to prove following that. If he bounces back he should be the one to keep the fav honest. Think ‘N’ Fly is slightly more exposed but has won 5 from 25 as well as 8 placed efforts in there. Unlikely to be too far away again. Adelaide Ace best of the rest following a very good second on return at Bendigo last month.

Race 3 Kembla Grange 5.45 Espirito (9/2)
Improving sort who shaped with plenty of potential on first two starts before getting his head in front impressively here last month; more to come now and while this is tougher he looks well placed to go and follow up.
I’m surprised ESPIRITO is as big as 9/2 at Kembla Grange as he won really well last time and I know it was a maiden and this is a lot tougher but he is open to improvement and should have the gears. Sabino is also promising with a win and two thirds from 3 runs over this trip and should run well. King Kapa is respected on earlier form but has gone off the boil a bit recently and will likely need more. Nashira made a bright start winning on debut but couldn’t back that up last time. Still brings potential to the table so shouldn’t be entirely overlooked but I think the fav is going to be tough to beat. This race has strength in depth but the rest only look to be playing for the places.
