THE AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS NOW ON A FOUR-TIMER!
Race 2 Goulburn 5.05 Boomsong (11/10)
Promising sort who is bred to be smart and took his form up a notch to open his account at Kembla Grange on return at the start of the month; open to further progress and should get these in trouble.
I thought BOOMSONG ran out a stylish winner at Kembla Grange last time and with that initial win under his belt now he can really kick on. He has scope to keep progressing and should prove a cut above the opposition again here. Wuddacuddashudda is a solid yardstick but he lacks potential and might struggle to contain the favourite. Flower Moon won on penultimate start but disappointed latest and has a bit to prove off the back of that. Could be the danger if bouncing back but likely better watched for now. Elleves is a bit inconsistent but again if bringing his best might not be all that far away. Sir Artie brings winning form to the table but this looks to be a fair bit tougher.

Race 1 Moe 4.00 The Kings Gospel (6/5)
Caught the eye running on strongly for second at Pakenham last month before having excuses at Warrnambool latest; step up in trip ideal and with more to come this looks a great chance to make the breakthrough.
If things pan out more favourably over this longer trip THE KINGS GOSPEL should prove really tough to beat. That second at Pakenham was a really decent effort and if you put a line through that run at Warrnambool last time he’d have an obvious chance to get off the mark now. He was slowly into stride last time and had a ton of ground to make up and it just didn’t happen. This is easier and he deserves to be a short priced favourite. Tasuma is 0/11 now and is second fav so that says a lot about the lack of quality on show in here. Ritzy Rita is 0/9 and just isn’t running well enough to see her springing an upset. Gimme A Buzz is 0/10 but did at least show a bit when third at Werribee last time so may feature.
