Royal Ascot 4.20 Coroebus (4/5)
Showed a smart turn of foot to get the better of his stablemate Native Trail to win the Guineas on reappearance; this a different test but open to further improvement and looks difficult to oppose; obvious chance.
The progressive COROEBUS is arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten and he looked better than ever quickening up like a smart horse to win the Guineas in April. That was visually a really impressive display and while this represents a different test going round a bend who is to say he won’t even improve for it? He won the Guineas like a horse that has more to come yet and even though there seems a bit uncertainty about his price for me I’m confident he is the one they all have to beat. Haggas saddles both My Prospero and Maljoom and they both looks nice prospects themselves. The latter overcame a tardy start to win the German Guineas but won’t get away with that here so definitely needs more.

Thirsk 2.20 Danni California (11/10)
Travelled strong well off the pace before picking up well and closing rapidly to win easily at Wetherby last week; turned out quickly under a 5lb penalty but likely hard to beat if in the same form here; big chance.
This doesn’t look any tougher than the race DANNI CALIFORNIA won so impressively at Wetherby last week so if she is in the same form here turned out quickly under a 5lb penalty she is expected to have too many gears for these. She won on the bridle last time and is clearly a filly at the top of her game right now. Myboymax continues to knock on the door having finished runner-up on his last four starts straight now. He might be facing a similar fate again here. Let Her Loose won over C&D a fortnight ago and is 3lb higher so also has to enter calculations but she will need more. Carlos Felix has a similar profile to Myboymax and likely won’t be far away but again vulnerable for win purposes.
