NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT BALLARAT ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Ballarat 7.00 Mietta (2/1)
Promising filly who made a perfect start winning by a neck on debut last month, justifying some strong support in the process; this looks a good bit of placement to make it a perfect 2-2 here so one to keep firmly on side.
It was quite a tough night overnight Down Under so hopefully we can bounce back on Monday. We head to Ballarat where MIETTA can remain unbeaten. She impressed on debut settling well and then pushing up and taking over when asked. She has more to come and this looks winnable so I’m pleasantly surprised to see her around 2/1 at the time of writing. I expect that to get backed come post time. She’s Kerosene is the likely danger as she shaped better when fifth at Cranbourne and if building on that again could get competitive. Coeur De Paris hasn’t been beaten far the last twice and if improving would also have to enter calculations but tough ask to peg back the selection.

Race 4 Carnarvon 8.32 Nero Chin Chin (5/2)
Tough sort who has won 2 of his last 3 and has already won 3 times at this track with 6 placed efforts too; pretty exposed and yet to strike over the trip but this looks a good opportunity so looks to have leading claims.
We head to Carnarvon on Monday morning for our second best bet Down Under and NERO CHIN CHIN should take a bit of beating for Zach Tyler and Natasha Faithfull. He impressed last time winning convincingly here and has won 2 of his last 3 now. He has an inside draw and likes to race pretty handy so should always be in the firing line and might prove tough to pass in the closing stages. Art Admirer is a decent yardstick but slightly more exposed. Only beaten just over a length last time though so on recent form has to enter calculations. Graciebird will likely run well but doesn’t find winning easy. All The Julz more unexposed than most so if improving would also have to be thereabouts.
