Cliffs Of Fury did catch the eye somewhat when third to Salvator Mundi at Leicester last month but even so he will have his work cutout to try and stop AFTER EIGHT winning this. The latter really should have won at Salisbury last time having been denied a run at a crucial stage. He went down just a length at the line and off just a 2lb higher mark should take a lot of beating here. Cliffs Of Fury does look the likely danger but can often find one or two too good and that might be the case again. Victory wasn’t disgraced when fifth at Newbury and should appreciate coming back over this longer trip so also has a squeak but again I’ll be surprised if he improves enough to get the better of this warm favourite.
