Promising colt who looked unlucky not to win on handicap debut up to this trip for the first time at Salisbury on return; remains unexposed and sure to keep improving so good chance to gain compensation here.
Cliffs Of Fury did catch the eye somewhat when third to Salvator Mundi at Leicester last month but even so he will have his work cutout to try and stop AFTER EIGHT winning this. The latter really should have won at Salisbury last time having been denied a run at a crucial stage. He went down just a length at the line and off just a 2lb higher mark should take a lot of beating here. Cliffs Of Fury does look the likely danger but can often find one or two too good and that might be the case again. Victory wasn’t disgraced when fifth at Newbury and should appreciate coming back over this longer trip so also has a squeak but again I’ll be surprised if he improves enough to get the better of this warm favourite.

Wolverhampton 8.30 Lincoln Pride (4/1)
Improving filly who clocked a career best winning at Doncaster, doing well to win after an awkward start; turned out quickly under a penalty and with more to come should have a good chance of following up.
Being drawn out wide might not be ideal so it wouldn’t surprise me to see this filly drift a bit but I’ll still be confident LINCOLN PRIDE can follow up. I was really impressed with how she managed to get up last time after a rough start and with further improvement to come I think she is the most likely winner in this line up. Monaadhil also brings winning form to the table having scored at Chelmsford. If he repeats that sort of effort here that will likely make him the main danger. One Step Beyond struck over C&D last time but I have my doubts over that form and this is definitely tougher. Hello Power is well bred and she only went down 2 lengths at Doncaster so she also has to be respected in opposition.
