Promising mare who has been ultra reliable in recent starts; won at Ballarat and then went down just a nose at Randwick in a better race than this last time; hard to beat if bringing her best form so obvious chance.
The likeable NARRATED should be up to justifying favouritism at Canterbury on Wednesday. She impressed at Ballarat and ran right up to form when second at Randwick last time. She remains open to further improvement and looks the most likely winner in this line up. Camaguey continues to run well also having finished runner-up the last 3 times. He has to be respected as is drawn low and likely has more to come too. Kalino still learning his trade so best of the rest but he’ll need to raise his game to spring any sort of an upset. Tags didn’t shape badly when fourth behind Irish Kisses last time and is another one at a bigger price that might be a bet to hit the frame.

Race 5 Cranbourne 5.45 For Real Life (6/4)
Good looking filly who is improving with experience and put it altogether to win convincingly at Mornington last month; open to further improvement and with this likely run to suit she is hard to get away from.
I’m really keen on the chances of FOR REAL LIFE here. She is a filly on the upgrade judging by that Mornington win last time and given she is unexposed over this trip with further improvement to come she can follow up under Robbie Downey. Arriva Diva won at Donald but blew out at Sandown and has enough to prove off the back of that. Quite surprised to see her trading as second favourite in here. Soaring Eagle and Impressive Lass may pose bigger threats with the latter likely to strip a lot fitter from that reappearance run last time. Miss Gobcain has won 4 times already but wasn’t at her best last time. If she bounces back though she might be a value play to rattle the frame late on.
