MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 1 AT GOULBURN ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 1 Goulburn 3.30 Nomara (6/4)
Promising filly who did well to get as close as she did on debut and then improved to win convincingly at Kembla Grange last month; sure to keep progressing and looks well placed to take this out and make it 2 from 3.
Good to have our Aussie bets back and we’ll be looking for a winning start with NOMARA at Goulburn. This filly is arguably unlucky not to be 2-2 and I think she can progress again to win this. She convinced last time and has plenty in her favour again. Chalkley is 1 from 11 and is second fav so says a lot about the opposition to be honest. He’ll need to be at his best and the fav to underperform to spring the upset you’d think. Little River Rose is a bit more unexposed and might actually emerge as a greater danger if improving again. I Love Lucy ran well at Canberra but has flopped twice since and a bounce back is definitely called for. Awesome Audrey still has more to come but this is tough enough.

Race 1 Ballarat 4.00 Cut To The Chase (6/4)
Likeable filly who ran well on debut at Moonee Valley to finish third before filling the same position at Bendigo when last seen; given time to strengthen up since and looks well placed to make a winning return.
We head to Ballarat for our second best bet Down Under and CUT TO THE CHASE can make the breakthrough now. She has shown enough to think there is a fair bit more to come yet and if she does improve she should have too much for these. Northumbria hasn’t shown as much as the selection but still has potential so looks the danger especially with a more recent run. Similar comments can apply to Poiema to be honest who will definitely know more now. This is a race that could easily throw up plenty of future winners so trackers at the ready. Both Alexein and Creedemption make their debuts but unless the betting speaks strongly I think they’ll both know more next time out.
