Caught the eye running well at a big price on return when fourth at Chelmsford and improved again staying on well for third at Salisbury last month; looks a likely improver back up in trip for handicap debut.

I know it’s a bit of a cliche but OMNISCIENT looks a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver now stepping into handicap company and if he progresses as expected he may well prove the answer here. He was sent off at odds of 80/1, 100/1 and 100/1 on his first three starts so has very much been a work in progress. He shaped well when fourth at Chelmsford on return and improved again to finish a closing third at Salisbury last time. The winner of that race Cabinet Of Clowns was a big eye-catcher behind the progressive Golden Voice at Sandown last week so it looks really solid form. An opening mark of 75 likely underestimates him and he should relish this step up in trip too so plenty going for him.
