MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 4 AT QUEANBEYAN ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 4 Queanbeyan 5.40 Cosmic Serenade (6/5)
Likeable filly who was back to her best winning at Moruya last month; now 2 from 3 over the trip and building a progressive profile so no surprise to see her improve again to follow up here; one to keep safe.
The low gate should see last time out winner COSMIC SERENADE dominate again. She impressed last time and clearly goes well over this trip given she is now 2 from 3 over it. She is in great nick and with usual luck should be able to follow up. Awesome Audrey has just the 1 win from 6 starts but it did come over this trip and she should have more to come going forward so no surprise to see her emerge as the main threat to the favourite. Red Kanzi is a little more exposed with 2 wins from 15 starts but again it wouldn’t surprise me to see her run well enough to hit the frame. Surely vulnerable for win purposes though? Lai See possibly best of the rest but needs more to get involved.

Race 2 Donald 4.00 Citizen (11/8)
Good looking chestnut who got within half a length of victory when second at Ballarat last month; working up to a win now and won’t need to find much more improvement to open his account; obvious chance.
I know CITIZEN is 0/5 but his form looks the best on offer here with two seconds and a third to his name. He knocked on the door again at Ballarat last time and really should be winning now. He can improve again and will likely have this moderate field covered. No surprise to see him being well backed at the time of writing. Gusmao is second favourite and is 0/6 but also ran well last time. They look the two with form that will battle this one out. Ellen’s Licence makes her debut but the betting isn’t suggesting she is anything special. Could go well but will likely benefit from the outing. Rubirock is 0/12 and already looking fairly exposed to me so definitely needs to show a lot more to land a blow.
