Ffos Las 4.55 Myriad (15/8)
Caught the eye finishing fourth in a race that has worked out really well at Salisbury last month; backed that up with an excellent second at Epsom with the front pair miles clear; open to further improvement.
The NAP looked to be in the box seat on Sunday but failed to see out her race. That was disappointing so hopefully we can bounce back quickly! We’re going to head to Ffos Las where MYRIAD looks a great bet to get back to winning ways. She improved from her reappearance run to go close at Epsom and if he builds on that again he will go one better here. The first-time cheekpieces should help and he has plenty going for him. Thanks Monica was down the field at Windsor last time but she is 2lb lower with blinkers applied so might not be far away with her yard going well but at the same time enough to prove. Blue Hero is quite a big price if bouncing back so also has to be considered.

Ayr 3.35 Belle Of Annandale (4/1)
Promising filly who is unlucky to still be a maiden; she missed by just a short head over C&D last week and off the same mark she should be capable of reversing that form now; this just her sixth start in a handicap.
Flying Moon showed a good attitude to win again last time and has rattled off a quick-fire hat-trick over C&D but this won’t be easy with a penalty to carry and that sways the vote to BELLE OF ANNANDALE who went down just a short head to the former last time. She can still improve again so off the same mark looks to have a great opportunity given they came 3 lengths clear from the rest as well. Highwaygrey is on quite a long losing run and I thought showed he was in the handicappers grip when third at Pontefract. He is down 3lb now so might hit the frame again but I think he’ll be vulnerable for win purposes. Augmentarium blew out at Royal Ascot but this is easier despite going up in trip.
