MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT IPSWICH ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Ipswich 5.57 Du Maurier (2/1)
Promising filly who has taken her form up a notch recently winning her last two starts at Gold Coast; this trip suits her well and with more to come looks to have found a good chance to complete the hat-trick.
I’m confident DU MAURIER is the one to beat in Race 7 at Ipswich on Thursday morning. This filly has really solid form in the book and given it stacks up she should be capable of bringing up the hat-trick here. She is clearly thriving and while this might be tougher she is a confident selection to come away with the prize once more. Hopeful Star is second favourite but she is 0/5 at the track and just 1/6 over the trip. She often runs her race so might not be far away but from a win point of view would have to be vulnerable. Diasonic is at least still fairly unexposed so might improve enough to chase the selection home. Contreras best of the rest but will need more in a race like this.

Race 7 Northam 9.05 Prize Pursuit (2/1)
Likeable type who was very much back to form going down just a head at Belmont on return; can improve from that as will be fitter now and looks to have leading claims in this field so definitely worth chancing.
I’m liking the chances of PRIZE PURSUIT to get back to winning ways at Northam on Thursday. He ran a cracker on return and if he progresses again after just the 12 starts he should win. That was his first start at this trip too so it should bring out the best in him. Find Your Man is trading as second favourite in here and that’s not surprising following that Belmont win. He definitely looms as a danger but the selection has stronger form I think so he might struggle as long as he brings his best form to the table. Beanie ran well when second at Ascot and while he is starting to look exposed and is 0/6 over the trip he has at least won twice at this track which would have to be a positive.
