Race 3 Mackay 3.52 Isis Carmella (11/8)
Promising filly who loves this track having won 4 from 5 including here last time; 3 from 6 over the trip too and can still improve again so great chance to bring up the hat-trick and worth keeping very safe here.
The progressive ISIS CARMELLA can complete the hat-trick at Mackay on Friday morning. She is getting better all the time judging by her last two wins and given her record of 4 from 5 at the track she is expected to have too much for these rivals. The danger looks to be Sundara who has won 3 from 10 but did win at the track last tie and could still have more to offer. Fire King is a little more exposed and has a bit to prove for me in terms of winning. Mississippi Prince is unexposed but yet to run at the track or over the trip so a few question marks there. Agustawynd won here on penultimate start but was last here earlier in the month and will need to bounce back to have a squeak in here.

Race 4 Dubbo 5.15 Dalavin (13/8)
Good looking sort who improved to get back to winning ways at Gunnedah last time and impressed with how he dictated; can progress again and this a good opportunity to follow up; looks sure to run a big race.
I really fancy DALAVIN to justify favouritism at Dubbo on Friday morning. This improving sort got the job done in good style last time and with more to come he can follow up. The danger is likely Billabong Isle who is 3 from 9 overall which includes a couple of wins at this track. She needs to improve again and does need to bounce back from that Rosehill run but still brings potential to the table. Pure Fuego has been out of form so has enough to find but on his best form could have a say in here. Time To Target is 1-1 at this track but was really poor at Tamworth. If bouncing back might be worth a small saver to rattle the frame as a lot of dead wood in here. Hard to recommend anything else.
