Race 2 Wellington 4.05 Careering Away (5/4)
Likeable type who got the job done at Dubbo last time prevailing by a head at the line; plenty of experience but actually unexposed over this trip so could have more to come yet; definitely looks the one to beat.
Great chance for CAREERING AWAY to make it 2 wins on the trot. He impressed at Dubbo and has more to come over this trip. This isn’t a great race and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t make the most of another good opportunity. He is around 5/4 in the betting which does surprise me as I have him down as an odds-on shot to beat this bunch. House Wins has 2 runs over the trip and 0 wins so still has to prove himself albeit a solid enough yardstick. Cliffsinger has the ability to be involved if taking to the trip but hasn’t really been running well enough to spring an upset here. Dancin’ Dude is another one that has to be considered but just isn’t in good enough form to take this out.

Race 5 Goulburn 6.15 Master Joe (13/8)
Caught the eye going close on debut over C&D and then improved beaten less than a length over the same track and trip last time; can keep progressing and likely hard to beat in what appears to be a winnable race.
Hard to look past MASTER JOE who has been knocking on the door and is still unexposed. He went close again last time over C&D and won’t need to find much further improvement to take this weak contest out. He was beaten less than a length by Privatisation last time and that looks to be solid enough form especially in the context of this race. Selfie Time definitely has a future but she failed to back up that encouraging debut run when midfield last time. If she bounces back then she is the danger but hard to be entirely convinced by her overall profile so far. Glint Of Silver is 0/4 but given how weak this is he could run a nice race. On looks he should do better at some stage.
