NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 4 AT COROWA!
Race 4 Corowa 5.25 Gusonic (10/11)
Likeable type who missed by a nose at Wagga and then won by a nose at Randwick; looks to be trending the right way now with 5 wins and 6 places from 17 starts; can still do better so obvious chance here.
With more to come GUSONIC can follow up at Corowa on Monday. His win at Randwick has been franked by Tawfiq Lass since with that horse winning the next two outings. There was only a nose in it at the line but that was clearly a smart effort. He will go forward and look to gallop these into submission. Ghost Doctor knows how to win with 10 wins from 61 starts but obviously plenty exposed compared to the selection. He has to be respected though and does look the one most likely to chase the favourite home. Bell’s Innocent has been knocking on the door and likely won’t be far away again but this looks competitive and he is going to need at his very best to peg back the selection.

Race 1 Scone 3.50 Miss Kojiki (2/1)
Tough mare who has been showing more than enough recently to win a race like this; first run back from five months off the track to go down just a length at Taree last month; sure to strip fitter so hard to beat.
Big chance for MISS KOJIKI to get herself back in the winners enclosure. She has finished second on two of her last three starts and that was an eye-catching effort back from an absence last time. If she builds on that she will be tough to beat here from a good draw. Asherla was a good third at Gunnedah last time and if she builds on that she might be the one most likely to give the selection a race. In Spades ran well on penultimate start but didn’t really back that up last time and she has a bit to prove now. Rahni Factor might find improvement to get involved but again enough to find to try and spring an upset. Redeeming Spirit won at Armidale but was very disappointing last time so needs more.
