MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT CAIRNS ON THURSDAY!
Race 7 Cairns 6.34 Avatea (4/5)
Promising type who has taken his form up a notch recently winning his last two over track and trip; won 4 from 8 at this track now and with further improvement to come from a good draw should be difficult to beat.
My Aussie NAP won overnight so hopefully I can fire in another winner at Cairns on Thursday. AVATEA is eyeing up a hat-trick and looks tough to oppose. He was always doing enough last time and off the front again from a good draw I can’t see anything getting to him. Matterhorn has won 3 from 8 and all those wins have come over the trip but he is 0/2 at the track. If he finds his best form here then he might put up the most resistance but a few questions to answer. El Of A Saga is exposed in comparison to the front pair but she still needs to be respected as she is holding her form well. Gdansk blew out somewhat last time but if bouncing back might be nibbling at their heels for a place.

Race 8 Northam 8.12 Oly’s Choice (10/11)
Likeable type who was back to his best winning well over slightly shorter here last time; can build on that now after just the 5 starts and definitely has further progress to come so worth keeping safe; sure to go close.
There is a good chance we haven’t seen the best of OLY’S CHOICE yet and with further improvement on the cards now she can get the better of this field. She is improving judging by that last win and if you look at her overall form of 12221 she hasn’t done a great deal wrong. If she improves they are all playing catch-up. Kohli has just the 3 wins from 16 starts now but does arrive here in form having finish third at Belmont last time and will be the danger if improving on that again. Awesome Chatter won at Belmont before failing to back that up last time and he might be the other one that could be running into the frame in the closing stages. Fav most likely winner though for sure.
