NAP – My best tip of the day
Glorious Goodwood 5.20 Omniscient (3/1)
Strong staying type who first caught my eye running on well for third at Salisbury; given too much to do on handicap debut at Wolverhampton before winning impressively up in trip at Yarmouth; ahead of the handicapper.
Great day on Thursday with the Daily Double winning at 7/1! Both Royal Scotsman and New London were seriously impressive so that really was easy money. It does look tougher on Friday but I am really keen on OMNISCIENT in the lucky last. I saw 10/3 and rushed out to do the video but by the time I got it live he was 3/1 and even writing this he is being backed even further. He really could end up going off 2/1 given potentially the amount in hand he has of the assessor. I was fuming when he got beat at Wolverhampton but in hindsight this may have been the plan all along so winning there would have done him no good. He impressed at Yarmouth and has more to come up another furlong in trip.

Musselburgh 8.20 Call Me Ginger (3/1)
Good looker who was back to his best winning with a bit in hand at Ascot; turned out quickly but looks well in under a 5lb penalty and hard to see how he doesn’t go close; should get a decent pace to run down.
I’m surprised CALL ME GINGER has opened at 3/1 here as I think he is a great bet to follow up that Ascot win. He was given a fair bit to do that day and was briefly denied a run before eventually seeing daylight and running on strongly. He crossed the line with a bit up his sleeve and if in the same form a 5lb penalty won’t stop him going in again. Only Spoofing is a very decent yardstick but he has never won off a mark this high and was nearer last than first in Ireland last week so enough to put me off. The Thin Blue Line really should have won last time and spurned another good opportunity so I have my doubts over his attitude now. Ready Freddie Go could end up being the main danger.
