MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 1 AT TAMWORTH ON TUESDAY MORNING!

Race 1 Tamworth 3.35 Zippy Power (6/5)

Progressive filly who has won 2 of her last 3 starts and impressed up to this trip for the first time at Gunnedah last month, stretching clear from her rivals; unexposed over this trip so with more to come can win again.

There was lots to like about the way ZIPPY POWER won up to this trip last time and given she is open to further improvement she looks well placed to follow up. Bar the second fav I don’t see any dangers so connections have found another good opportunity. Casirina has won 2 of her last 3 and has finished second on both attempts over the trip. Looks set to give the fav most to think about. Rockamo is next in the betting but he has just the 1 win from 16 attempts though did finish second on sole try over this trip. Into The Oblivion is a 7yo now and looks exposed. 0/2 at the trip and 0/1 at the track so definitely needs more to even hit the frame. The rest are all pretty limited in a race that lacks any real strength.

Race 5 Coleraine 6.30 Summit Queen (5/4)

Promising mare who improved from her debut run to win at Hamilton back in February; lost her chance at the start when only fifth at Sandown; given time since and open to further progress now so big chance fresh.

With plenty of pace on here this could be run to suit SUMMIT QUEEN who looks capable of making a winning return. She won her maiden and then acquitted herself well in defeat despite getting beat at Sandown. Given time to strengthen up since this looks a winnable task on return before going on to better things. Bullzeye Beauty looks the danger having won at Warrnambool on penultimate start. Form looks strong in the context of this race so she can chase the fav home. Via Capo ran well at Caulfield but hasn’t really match that since so needs more but is also respected if bringing his best. Tequila Storm has only had a couple of starts so is another one that could run a nice race albeit in defeat.
