NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 8 Belmont 7.19 Phanta (11/8)
Good looking sort who is 3 from 4 at this track and won his last two impressing over C&D last month; can keep improving so hard to get away from again and really should be too good for these at the business end.
I’m looking forward to seeing PHANTA at Belmont early on Saturday morning. This flash chestnut comes here on a hat-trick and looks to be getting better all the time. He had to tough it out last time but that was still impressive given how well the form has worked out. He beat two subsequent winners so it all stacks up massively. He’ll be ridden aggressively and is unlikely to come back to them. Multinational has won 2 of his last 3 and looms as a danger. He also has a bright future so it should be a good race but I think the favourite has a bit of class about him and might always be doing enough. Blow Me Out is pretty solid for the frame but has just 1 win from 11 attempts at this track.

Race 5 Royal Randwick 4.40 Pizarro (7/4)
Likeable type who caught the eye going down narrowly at Rosehill before winning convincingly at the same track over this trip last time; 2 from 3 over the distance now and looks to have plenty going for him.
Hard to look past PIZARRO at Randwick in the early hours of Friday morning. This horse is 2 from 6 overall and he has finished second on each of the 4 times he was beaten. He impressed last time and has plenty in favour again here by the looks of it. Daralina Belle is 4 from 9 overall and did well to get up by a nose last time. She looks the danger if the favourite underperforms. Niffler also has a bright future having already won 4 from 10 and she isn’t entirely out of it either but I think if the selection shows what he is capable of then that should suffice. Equation best of the rest but would need a few of these to blow out to have a say in terms of winning but might run into a place.
