MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 7 AT BELMONT!
Race 7 Belmont 8.38 Sessions Peak (5/2)
Progressive form in recent starts winning 2 of his last 3; nicely on top at the finish latest and remains open to further improvement after just the 9 starts; should take a lot of beating especially in this field.
Always nice waking up to a winning double overnight Down Under! Hopefully we can go back-to-back on Tuesday. I like the chances of SESSIONS PEAK at Belmont and I’m pleasantly surprised he is as big as 5/2 at the time of writing. He has the best form in the book coming into this and is only going to improve so should have all the answers here. Ghobella is second fav but she only has 2 wins from 17 and while she might threaten I think she will likely prove vulnerable for win purposes. Gunnago is respected on exposed form and ran well when second at Northam last time. Canny Jack still has potential but hasn’t really fired the last twice so will need to show more here to feature.

Race 2 Kensington 5.00 Hameron (11/4)
Good looking sort who improved again to win at Gosford when last seen back in May; obviously remains unexposed and likely to have progress again since so obvious chance to make a winning return here.
I’m definitely sticking with the promising HAMERON on his return. I thought he did that well when last seen and given time to mature since he should have plenty more to come now. This looks a winnable assignment and I’ll be surprised if he is beaten. 11/4 makes plenty of appeal! The danger is likely Green Flash who has knocked on the door the last twice. He has finished second 3 times over this trip and has a win from just the 6 attempts so a pretty solid record all in all. Redwood Shadow is also fairly consistent and won’t be far away again but probably needs more to win. Air Of Alsace ran well when second at Warwick Farm last time and is also noted but the fav should have her covered.
