MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT MOUNT ISA ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Mount Isa 8.10 The Brotherhood (6/4)
Likeable type who was back to his best winning nicely here back in June; only beaten a length over C&D again last time and from a low draw good chance he can resume his progression here; sure to go close.
Hard to look past THE BROTHERHOOD at Mount Isa on Thursday morning. This horse won over C&D on penultimate start and ran right up to form denied just a length last time. He can still progress further and looks the most likely winner in this field. He has a low draw and should be hard to catch. Parlour has a similar profile to the selection but just isn’t in the same form despite running better when third at Warwick last time. If she builds on that again she could end up being the one to chase him home for second but hard to envisage him springing the upset. Underthespotlight is actually a little less exposed and could run well so don’t underestimate him as he is a good looking type as well.

Race 8 Northam 9.00 Divine Pair (13/8)
Tough sort who continues to knock on the door going down less than 2 lengths despite being forced wide last time; more to come over this trip and this looks a good opportunity to get back in the winners enclosure.
I’m liking the chances of DIVINE PAIR at Northam overnight. This horse has only run 3 times over this trip winning once and finishing second last month. He has more to come after just the 16 starts and this looks a good opportunity. Real Danger is 2 from 3 at the track so looks the most obvious danger but she doesn’t exactly come into this in form and was nearer last than first at Ascot last time which would have to be concerning. Halatorion also blew out last time but on older form would have a squeak but hard to recommend. Tradement won at Belmont but let backers down badly last time and will need much more to bounce back here as this looks pretty competitive.
