NAP – My best tip of the day
Doncaster 3.48 The Attorney (6/4)
Came with a big run late at Goodwood last month despite having been hampered; that looks really solid form and his runs at Newcastle and Newmarket prior to that also stack up; good chance to go one better.
While it is a good afternoon of racing ahead it has a trappy look to it as well and so it might not surprise you that I head away from the action on ITV for the NAP. I like the chances of THE ATTORNEY at Doncaster for Charlie Hills and Jim Crowley. This colt still looks to be improving judging by that excellent second at Goodwood last month. He was only beaten a length and a quarter at the line by a very useful horse in Lyndon B and if he builds on that again he will win this. He looks the pace angle and judging by Friday this sun-baked ground is making it tough for horses to come from behind. Air To Air is a horse I like and he is very talented himself but he isn’t the most straightforward by any means.

Newmarket 4.28 Mums Tipple (5/2)
Ran well to finish third over 7f here behind Nizaaka last month and built on that again to finish fourth in what looked a good race at Goodwood last time; drops back to 6f now and dropped another 1lb so big run beckons.
I’m sticking with MUMS TIPPLE following that big run at Glorious Goodwood. He hit the front a furlong out before just keeping on and given I’ve tipped the second The Attorney (my NAP) and third Dance Fever (my Eye Catcher) today I’m hoping the form works out well. He is back down a furlong which should be an obvious plus and Frankie Dettori gets the leg up. Just like with the NAP it is going to pay to be prominent in this ground and he should go forward. The danger is Churchill colt Ingra Tor who was back to form to some extent when second last time. He drops back to 6f which like the selection should help and he looks the danger if handling this rattling fast ground.
