Race 8 Saratoga 9.26 With The Moonlight (1/1)

Progressive filly who was back to her best winning the Saratoga Oaks readily earlier this month; won 2 of her last 4 now and remains open to further improvement so should be hard to beat tonight; worth keeping on side.

I’m back from York so my tips Stateside return tonight. I’m going to head to Saratoga for my best bet where the improving WITH THE MOONLIGHT can win again. This filly won the Saratoga Oaks earlier this month and could be destined for the top off the back of that performance. She had previously finished a close second in a Grade 1 so clearly possesses a lot of ability. I liked how she did it last time and I’m confident she can go and follow up. Consumer Spending was a place behind the selection when third to McKulick so looks the most likely danger again here. She is a nice filly herself and should run well. Haughty was well back behind them so has enough to prove even if bouncing back.

Race 8 Del Mar 1.34 Spendarella (11/8)

Promising filly who won her first 3 starts in the style of an exciting prospect before bumping into Inspiral at Royal Ascot back in June; likely to keep improving for a while yet and looks to be hard to oppose in here.

No surprise to see SPENDARELLA popular here following that very good second to Inspiral at Royal Ascot. That was a big run in defeat and if she keeps progressing she should have this field covered despite 13 rivals heading to post. The danger is likely Cairo Memories who beat Island Of Love to win a Grade 3 at Saratoga back in May and ran well again when fifth behind McKulick (form that ties in with my NAP) at Belmont. If she improves again she should give the selection most to think about. Bellabel beat Sixteen Arches and Island Of Love last time and is another one that looks to be trending the right way now so deserves plenty of respect in opposition. This will undoubtedly throw up further winners.
