MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS ON A SIX-TIMER ON TUESDAY!
Race 6 Rockhampton 7.34 Sergeant Hulka (4/5)
Won 2 of his 4 starts to date and ran out a convincing winner at Sunshine Coast last month; capable of better again and looks another good chance of saluting the judge; sure to go close especially in this field.
I know he isn’t much of a price but SERGEANT HULKA is comfortably the most likely winner of this. He impressed last time and is capable of better again. He has a low gate and will likely push forward. Dawson Diamond has won 3 from 6 but has disappointed somewhat the last twice which would have to be a worry. Knight’s Sword has 2 wins from 14 but does arrive in winning form having scored last time so enters calculations but lacks the potential of the favourite. Ready For Magic is 0/3 over the trip so needs more to spring an upset here. Velaro didn’t run badly last time but lacks consistency so would have to be at his very best to have a chance of getting involved here.

Race 7 Newcastle 8.05 Narito (10/11)
Promising type who made a perfect start winning on debut at Wyong, firmly on top at the line; can improve again from that initial outing and looks a good opportunity to go 2-2 and remain unbeaten; keep safe.
This race is cutting up badly now so it is a great chance for NARITO to go 2-2. He was pretty dominant on debut and is sure to improve from that initial effort. With experience under his belt now he can go in again. Strombus has run well the last twice finishing second at Warwick and then third at Randwick. If he improves again he could be the one that throws up a challenge to the favourite. Damaged has just the 1 win from 21 starts and hasn’t been running badly but must be vulnerable for win purposes. Viennoiserie won on debut but then blew out last time and her limitations have been somewhat exposed. Rahni Factor has knocked on the door the last twice and might hit the frame here.
